THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! My sister and I used to play secret agents and sing this song, pretending that we were the ladies in the long, black dresses. Silly, I know, but it means so much to me to find this. It is a memory that I hold dear to my heart.

All I remember is "I like women in long black dresses with earrings that sparkle and shine". I have looked for this song and/or artist for years. Anybody know the name or the artist?

Yup, Bobby Borchers did that song. Great tune! Another great song was done by Tommy Overstreet..."From Woman To Woman." (Not a woman's song!)

One of those songs by: Scott
Man I have been singing, "I like ladies in long black dresses with earrings that sparkle and shine" all day. That's the only line of the song I can remember. It was a hit in the early 70's but can't find it anywhere. Thanks for the head's up.
