That song is called "Last Kiss" originally done in late 60's or early 70's, then done again just recently. The other song about breaker 109 is called "Teddy Bear" by Red Sovine done in the 60's.

About "109"-that might be "Teddy Bear" (Breaker 109 is anyone there, come on back truckers and talk to teddy bear).
About drunk driving and killing girlfriend-that might be "Look What It Took (for me to finally bring you flowers)". Don't remember the artist name-but he took the keys even though she told him not to drive. He crashed and it killed her, he is singing about bringing flowers to her grave.
