Music Trivia

chicken wireQ: Do you remember that movie The Blues Brothers? Are there places where they have chicken wire placed to protect the band?

A: Yea, I loved that part where they go inside 'Bob's Country Bunker'. Wild. You'll have the best chance to find chicken wire bars at the Port of Houston. Youve got a bunch of people getting off the boats, and lots of them dont speak English. Sailors and rednecks dont mix. Anyway, the bands were instructed to play through most anything that happens, and they did!

Now days, its reported that teachers have chicken wire around them in nasty urban schools.

Arnold

Q: What movie did Arnold Schwarzenegger play the fiddle?

A: The name of the movie is "Stay Hungry", produced in 1976. One of my friends said it was funny. Lots of Stars--- Jeff Bridges, Sally Field, Arnold Schwarzenegger, R.G. Armstrong, Robert Englund, Roger E. Mosely, Scatman Crothers, Fannie Flagg, Joanna Cassidy, Ed Begley, Jr., Joe Spinell, Dennis Fimple. You may remember Scatman from the movie "The Shining", the bald black man who communicates with his mind, then Jack Nicholson smacks his head with an axe. That's him.

Fannie Flagg was hired by Allen Funt as a writer and later a cast regular for "Candid Camera" in the 1960s; moved to the West Coast with the show and stayed with it for five years.
